About the project

Kaffe Bueno is a Danish bioscience company that upcycles coffee by-products into high-performance, and all natural ingredient for personal care and beyond. To challenge the cosmetics industry's outdated standard for white synthetic ingredients, they designed the brand awareness campaign "We Are Nature".

While the overall campaign strategy was led by Marketing & Branding Lead Noomi Mikkelsen, Kaffe Bueno needed a partner to bring that strategy to life on social media. IVL Creatives stepped in to manage all social media channels.

By focusing on consistent posting of engaging content that resonated with personal care formulators, manufacturer, suppliers, and brands we helped increase Kaffe Bueno's average monthly engagement by 147%.

How we helped

The main challenge was taking Kaffe Bueno's  "We Are Nature" campaign strategy and turning it into social media content. Because the science behind biotech and upcycled ingredient benefits can quickly become complex, our job was to make the content easy to digest without oversimplifying the details that matter to Kaffe Bueno's technical audience

We supported Kaffe Bueno with:

  1. Translating Strategy to Social: Kaffe Bueno had already developed the "We Are Nature" campaign strategy. Our role was to translate that strategy into content formats the LinkedIn and Instagram algorithm rewards, while making sure the message remained rooted in bioscience. 
  2. Weekly Check-in & campaign allignment: Attending weekly check-ins with the Kaffe Bueno team to align on upcoming content, adjust angles around industry trends and events, and make sure social media stayed connected to wider marketing activities like webinars and conferences. One example was the “Nature Is Not White” protest-style post created around in-cosmetics Global 2025. By aligning the content with Kaffe Bueno’s participation in a major industry event, the post generated more than 40,000 impressions, 500 likes, and over 50 comments on LinkedIn alone.
  3. Content Creation: We managed the entire content creation process, from brainstorming topics with the team and filling the content calendar to copywriting, graphic design, video scripting, and video editing.
  4. Scheduling & Publishing: Consistency is key when building brand awareness. We followed a fixed posting schedule with content published twice a week at the best-performing times for Kaffe Bueno’s target audience on LinkedIn and Instagram.
  5. Strategic Engagement: We engaged with identified target audience accounts before and after posting times to increase visibility, improve post performance, and spark real conversations. We also responded to every comment as we don’t believe in posting and ghosting.
  6. Analytic Tracking: We hosted monthly progress meetings to discuss performance, identify what was working, and improve future content. Results were also included in broader marketing reporting to track growth on a year to year basis. 
  7. HubSpot Email Marketing: While social media management was the main focus of our collaboration, we also helped Kaffe Bueno launch a re-engagement campaign to reconnect with cold leads and clean up their HubSpot CRM database.

Results

By consistently creating and publishing engaging content, we helped Kaffe Bueno grow their visibility within the B2B cosmetics industry.

On LinkedIn, the results were immediate. In April 2025, the content generated nearly 85,000 organic impressions and more than 7,200 engagements in a single month. The momentum continued throughout our collaboration, resulting in over 362,000 total organic impressions and an average engagement rate of 13.96%.

On Instagram, we focused on video content and behind-the-scenes moments to show the people behind the brand. While often overlooked by B2B companies, Instagram is a powerful channel for employer branding. Campaign reels, team content, and authentic snapshots consistently generated strong engagement, reaching a peak of more than 31,000 monthly views in September 2025.

By taking care of the day-to-day social media management of the "We Are Nature" campaign, we helped Kaffe Bueno turn a strong campaign strategy into consistent growth across social media.
